handle has been carefully de-knotted, cleaned and fitted with a new 20mm synthetic knot
must love Bakelite, or at the very least things with beautiful design. i never get tired of seeing these combos. while not for me i get the appeal, great little brush with its own matching stand. really what's (knot) to love? red and gold swirled Bakelite in very good condition. some age related wear, but it is from the 1930s. brush fits the stand very nicely, knot just kisses the base so you can dry it without damaging the bristles.
